Keeping campaign budgets on pace

Seeing 8–12% variance week to week as CPMs swing, and my Google Sheets + QuickBooks combo isn’t catching overpacing until midweek. How are you setting thresholds or alerts for multi-channel budgets (Meta, Google, TikTok) so a $75k/month plan stays within ±5% by Friday? I’m considering daily caps and a pacing dashboard, but curious what’s working for you.

On $75k, use Mon–Fri weights and ‘±3% vs target’ Slack alerts; want my Sheets formula?

I piggyback @benjamin1557’s alerts with intraday guardrails: if a channel is >60% of its daily target by 2pm local, an automated rule trims budget 10%; if <30%, it bumps 10% — that’s kept $75k plans within about ±4% by Friday… Daily caps work, but they can choke Meta learning, so I prefer rules tied to target pace. Want the exact rule syntax for Meta and Google?
