The struggle of pitching creative concepts

I’ve been wrestling with how to really bring my ad concepts to life during client pitches… Just last week, I used a new storytelling approach that I thought would resonate, but it fell flat. Anyone else facing similar challenges or have tips on making those ideas stick?

I get it, the storytelling angle can be tricky… Have you tried using visual aids? They can really help make concepts resonate.

But , I totally feel you on this! Using storytelling is a great approach, but I’ve found that breaking down the narrative with a strong hook or a visual can really help it land better. Have you tried incorporating any quick sketches or mood boards to convey your concepts? It might help bring your last idea to life a bit more.

Pitching is tough — it’s like cooking a complex dish: if you don’t set the right ingredients upfront, it might not taste great later! Maybe try sharing a personal story that ties into your concepts; it can make your pitch feel more relatable. Have you thought about how you frame your ideas to the client?

‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‌

Have you thought about incorporating a real-life case study into your pitch? I’ve found that sharing how a similar idea worked in a different context really helps the client visualize the potential impact. It adds credibility and makes the concept feel more relatable.
